BoA offered SP credit limit reallocation option across my 3 BoA cards, question...

Earlier this morning, BoA offered me a SP credit limit reallocation option across my 3 BoA cards.  I ended up reallocating $2k from my previous $10k limit for my BBR to add it to my previous $9.1k limit for my Cash Rewards card, upon receiving instant approval after the SP was done.  New limits are thus $8k for my BBR and $11.1k for my Cash Rewards card.

My question is:  does anyone know if cc issuers ever potentially try to do RJ/FR/AA, due to a customer requesting just a reallocation alone (hopefully not)?  The BoA rep I spoke with seemed to be very impressed with how I've handled my BoA cc accounts, and in fact complimented me on it, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask the posters here, just b/c I would hate to risk receiving possible RJ/AA on my Cash Rewards card, due to the reallocation?  Also this would be the first time I have actually reallocated limits between cards, so any info anyone could please provide would be deeply appreciated.

no your fine. I'm sure that CA would've took action against your right on the spot if there was an issue.

your just over thinking this.

Why did did you just move $2k around ?

what was your goal in doing this ? Thought maybe making your CR a $15k card would've made more since.

its your account and you have your reasons for your actions , but was just wondering why you picked $2k to move.

Thanks for the helpful reply Smiley Happy  In response to your questions, the primary reason that I moved the $2k from the BBR to the Cash Rewards card is b/c I've been wanting to increase the CL on the Cash Rewards card for quite some time, but didn't want to take a HP to do it, and I could functionally do the same thing with BoA's SP reallocation offer.  The other reasons were that the Cash Rewards card currently has a BT promo offer of 0% until 10/2017, so I can make use of that if desired (and having the $2k limit increase could potentially help minimize overextension of util).  Plus the original $10k CL on the BBR was a lil overkill anyway just b/c of the go-to rate when the 0% promo rate expires, so I guess I just thought the $2k could be better-served on the Cash Rewards card?  I didn't want to go higher than $2k max in reallocating so that the BBR's util would also not be seen as potentially overextended, by BoA.

Also, one of the reasons I am very wary about maintaining a certain amount of non-overextended util on the Cash Rewards card is, my original CL with them used to be ~$16k a few years ago, but I guess my util at that time was too high for their liking, and so they CLD and balance-chased me down to first $10k and then $9.1k, although thankfully they did not try to RJ or close the account.  And so I have kinda taken extra-special care of the Cash Rewards card, ever since...
