So this month it's been 12 mos and I called them yesterday to see if they would graduate me. Said a HP was necessary, he pulled a report asked a few questions and said congrats. I asked about the CL to see if it was gonna double, it's not it will stay the same. I asked about converting to the 1-2-3 rewards card and he said he could convert it.
I should've asked about the AF, and about the $100 after spending $xxx. Should I call back and try to see if they will give me a CLI along with no AF?? Same with TE spend xxx get $100?
Congrats!
It used to be only an SP on graduation, but I see BofA hardpulls for everything now. It can't hurt to call back to ensure there is no longer the AF attached to your account, and if they'd extend the bonus offer to you.
Congrats on your graduation success.
Congratulations Graduate!
Congratulations on going from secured to unsecure but, it seems to me that they could certainly do A LOT more for you.

I would call back and speak to a different rep. about CLI.

Ok I talked to 2 different reps earlier and I can't get the $100 bonus... My credit limit is staying the same($1000) and cannot be increased for right now. Said to wait 3-6 months but I don't want another HP since they just pulled. Also the AF cannot be waived, maybe I should keep calling them and buggin them
The best thing to do is to wait a while.
In a couple of months, I'd call back and as them to consider a "product" change to a no annual fee card. With BofA, this is both an involved process and a hit and miss. If you're fortunate, a CSR or analyst familiar with the process can make the change for you without a HP. Either way, your existing record on your secured will be purged, but the original date will remain the same.
With BofA, the product change requiring to remove the annual fee isn't a simple process.
