Hello all,
I just submitted an application online for the Accelerated Rewards Amex card and it came back with a screen telling me to call in for an instant decision. The credit department is already closed so I will have to call tomorrow morning but does anyone know what that is all about? Are they going to ask identity questions or income related? I'm not worried, just a bit curious.
It also said if I couldn't call in, they would mail me a decision within 30 days. Good sign or bad? Thank you
+1

Sounds good to me. I had the same exact experience. They verified some information then approved me. I've also had a denial a year before that and it clearly stated denied right away. No call in. So I'd say you are as good as approved.
Hope you get it OP!
Well I finally got an answer from Bank of America..."Congratulations! You have been approved for $5000!" This is my highest inital credit line and I am stoked!
Just curious for those of you who have this card, what is your CL?
Congrats! I was approved for $5k too last month

Same limit
I believe that's the lowest limit you can be approved for the card with.
