Bp gas card question.

Yesterday, I received a pre-approval in the mail. It had no Visa/Master logo on it. 

Does that mean if I respond. It will be the non-bank card version for sure. 

Only other Synchrony accounts I have...are Amazon and Walmart both stuck @ 6K. 

Anyone one have any insight?

No apps for 8 months 

I don't have a gas besides a Shell. But I'm a authorized user. Don't wanna app and get a low limit gas only card.

I got the visa version with your score and applied for the Sam's Club and got the store card. Chevron and BP visas way easier to get.

With your profile you seem like you have good coverage anyway is there a BP station like next door where it would make sense?

When the conversation goes to fuel I always suggest fee based American Express with a 6% Supermarket so you can buy yourself fuel gift cards. Most often the stations that accept credit cards charge more so he is a gift card to pay the cash price so that is savings off the top

There's a lot of BP's around me. 

But I see what you're saying with Amex. 

I was wanting to increase my overall credit limit. 

Black Friday Mericle! past seven months cap1 has been shooting me down for increases. Letter "Eq score to low"

Just tried both of my accounts out of frustration. Received a $2000 increase on one, and the other $3000. 

Extra 5k helps. 

Anyone out out there get approved for Cap1 Venture with... Fico 04's Eq 659 might be a little higher now. TU 699 Ex 665. Since my last 3B report, Fico 08 scores have gone up 4 points... Have no idea if it raised my Fico 04's tho.

If the pre approval is for a non visa gas card that is what you will get if its approved.

If gas is a big spend, Penfed Cash Rewards (with a $25 Money Market account) is a good choice, unlimited 5% cash back, no AF   Leaving BCP spend available for groceries or other gift cads

I would try Penfed but.... I'm self employed. Will have a tuff time when that ask for stubs etc. 

I make above the median income and my state.  Don't they and NFCU always ask for poi,w2's etc.
