Just closed my OpenSky secured card this morning!

Unfortunately the deposit will take 4-6 weeks to arrive and my AAoA will take a slight hit [after 10 years ], but a nice $300 check after Christmas will be more than welcome!

Phase 1 of my credit journey is complete, time to use Discover and AMEX for the next 6 months and hope for CLI
