You may have to show some income verification most credit unions require that if you are new

update with BoA card,

CLI from $300 to $1,500! and told me they are willing to increase more later!

but, as a college student, I'm not allowed to have more than 1 credit card?

that's what the recon line said... ughhhhhh

and for the BECU they requested proof of income.. ahhhh!
