I just closed my Credit One card and gleefully cut it up into tiny pieces.  No more $8.25 monthly fees!  No more interest charged without a grace period!  No more being asked to pay for CLIs!  Huzzah!  It is a new day. :-)

I've had a Credit One card for a little over 5 years.  I hate that it's one of my oldest cards.

I have received several auto CLI over the years, but I never had to pay for any of them.  I long for the day that I can exchange all the subprime for prime in my wallet!

That's the plan as soon as I close on my first home.  I'm scheduled to close on January 31st and as soon as the ink is dry and they can't take it back, I want to work on some prime credit cards.  Reading these boards has me so excited about the possibilities.  I don't know if I am more excited about my new home or applying for a prime card.  LOL!

Congrats on your new home Smiley Happy

I think you're more excited about home ownership but once you close on your house and you're in, the fever to app will take over you. The thirst for prime cards will make your fingers move on their own towards the application pages Smiley Happy
