It's already been over a year with perfect payment history and 150% usage every month; yet, I still havent received a CLI. I am so damn annoyed right now. This is literally the only card I have with a credit limit less than $5000.00. I've tried, what I believe to be, every available channel of communication to get a CLI from them without success.
Can anyone shed some light on how to best bring this to the attention of Target?
Try to close the card and voice that as the reason when they ask....because they do ask and then give all types of reasons on why you should keep it. Maybe they will offer higher limit if you tell them that's why your closing it.
From what I have heard, they are stingier with CLIs than Cap1... and that is saying something. Some people get them out of the blue, but I probably count on one hand the number of times I have seen it happen on here.

Have you had success with this strategy yourself?
No...I was trying to close it because I'm kind of onboard with the DR program and he talked to me til the cows came home on why I should keep it. I didn't mention credit limit as being one of them because I barely use the card. I'm sure if I had he would have tried to offer me something.
Also is this the store card or the VISA?

Store/Redcard.
That's what I have and I've been stuck at $500 since I opened it which was about 8 years ago. When I've tried to increase by phone they told me they don't do that and they review periodically to see if the person is eligible. Oh Well...now i Have their debit and don't need the CC for the 5% off.
I got their attention but it didn't do me much good. I emailed the president of TD Bank, and was later contacted by the Target EO. This was done mid-July. I received a call a few days ago.....they gave me a cli of $200. I've had the card for 18 years and that's all I get. I'm seriously thinking about closing the account after I try for a house next year. Obviously they don't care about their cardholders, so why should I put my money in their pockets. I don't even shop there anymore.
