So I sent CapOne a PM through facebook about my QS card.
They called me 2 days later.
I told the lady (who was very nice and understanding BTW) that I had just closed my Secured card, and was interest in making my QS card a bit easier to use, which was only 10 months
I simply stated my case, payment history with them thus far, and explained it was the only card I had with a AF. But it was also one of my most used cards but my limit hindered my spending habits, and multiple payments per month was a real hassle.
She removed the AF right then and there!! Then said she had to submit my account for manual review in regards to a CLI and that it could take 3-5 days. She also asked if I would take less than requested if needed and I said yes.
Not exactly sure what the chances of a CLI are (I did get a credit step increase at the 6 month mark) but I suppose moving to no AF is a win worst case scenario. I doubt they'll increase it now though.
Anyone know how successfull the FB route is for CLIs?
I went through FB and was able to get my legacy Orchard Bank card increased to from $600 to $1000. I also had a new Capital One Rewards increased from $500 to $1000, that was under Credit steps after 4 months, then they increased it to $1500 at the 6 month mark, and they switch it to QS One So, you definately have a chance.
Great News. I'll hope for the best.
With any luck I'll know something today or tommorow. It was thursday when she called me.
YAY!!!
Cap One just got back to me. They gave me a CLI to $1500 on the QS (It was $750)
Not a huge line, but Im happy with it and plenty for that card.
Went from a QS with a $39 AF and $750 limit to $0AF and $1500 limit.
Had the card less than a year, about 10 months now if that matters. But do have other accounts with them.

Congrats!! Nice work!!
Grats on getting the AF taken care of... Have heard of some success by going theu FB, best bet is the EO though.
Congrats! Yes, the Capital One EO is great to work with. I'm happy you were able to get your increase.
If it wasn't for MyFico, I would have never know about how to actually get an increase after initially being denied. The person I spoke to told me to give them a call back in a few months and they might consider raising my limit further. Had some financial setbacks that caused my util to go through the roof, but after I get it back down, I'm definately going to use that channel again.
congrats
