Just a quick question: Is the statement closing date on my CC statement the same date that the CCC will report balance/util to the CRA?
Or is it possible that some CCCs report before/after the closing date?
The reason I ask is because I do a daily pull of EX with a FAKO site and I've noticed that one of my CapOne cards hasn't updated, even though the closing date is the 8th on that card. Figured three days woulda been enough time to see the update by now.

If I recall correctly all of mine, including my Cap 1 account, report within a few days of the statement date but there are come CCC's that report at different times of the month.

The statement closing date and reporting date are usually within days of each other. For instance, my Cap1 statement date is the 6th of every month and it reports to the CRA a couple of days afterwards.
I also noticed that EX is slow to report this month for some reason. They are usually the first CB to report my balance.
The reporting date is usually the day after the closing date. So if your closing date is November 11, the reporting date will be November 12th. The CCC will use the latest balance/utilization on midnight of the closing date. NOW, the update to the credit bureau may take a few days, but if you look closely on TU or EX backdoor reports, the reporting date will show as the day after the closing date.
All of my CC's report within a day of my statement date, except US Bank. Not sure if this is the case for everyone, however my US Bank statement always cuts on the 12th, however they report to all three CRA's on the last day of the month. I always make sure that I PIF a couple of days before the last day of the month to ensure $0 reporting to the CRA's.

US Bank is the major exception, reporting for everyone on the last day of the month, regardless of statement close date.

Interesting...Could that have something to do with why I can't see my October Statement on the US Bank site yet? Last statement available is September

No, statement and reporting are disconnected here!
