CC Payment Problem

I tried to make a payment on one of my cards and it said "you've reached the payment limit of the month which is four."  I only made one payment this month but they mailed me a new card mid cyle and changed my account number so I guess it messed up the computer system.  If I push a payment from my Wells Fargo checking will they take the payment, or return it back to Wells Fargo because they think I've reached the maximum when I tried to pay on their own website.

 

I've never tried paying through my online Bill Pay, so I thought this gave a good reason to try and pay through my bank's bill pay system..

I was just about to suggest to pay that way if "pulling" is not allowed then "push" the payment  Smiley Happy

Thank you for responding!  It doesn't have a grace period so I wanted to pay as soon as possible.
