So I think I am at the stage where I need to consider closing/combing cards. Here is what I have:
BofA 1-2-3 Cash reward $3500 (Love this card)
Discover IT $1250 (actively using/still not growing). Close, sockdrawer or run a recurring charge just to keep activity on the card and hope for CLI?
Citi TY- $8300
Citi Diamond Pref- $2500
*Considering closing Citi TY and transferring limit to the Citi Diamond Preferred. Need a MC with/a decent limit. Doing that would bring Citi Diamond to $10,800. Open to suggestions here too. Is this a good idea? Could I request it to be World MC or Word Elite MC?
Chase Freedom $2200
Chase SWA $3000
Chase Amazon $1000
* This situation here I don't know what to do. Need suggestions. Only card I'm attached to is Chase Freedom. I'd like to add CSP and close SWA and Amazon.
Walmart Discover $2000
Old Navy Visa $2850
* I'm good with these cards. I use them as needed.
Amex Zync NPSL-Still trying to decide if I am going to PC or not. Green is out of the questions. It would be gold or PRG.
At this point I don't see a need for BCE or BCP. I'm thinking BofA will grow with me nicely and I bank with them too so the extra 10% incentive to redeem directly to a BofA account is awesome. The amex revolver I do want is the Costco True Earnings, some big ticket items I'd like to purchase but can't because they don't take other credit cards.
Anyways, thanks all in advance for your help/suggestions.

Oh one card I forgot to mention was my cap1 rebuilder card. $750/CL not getting any use. The only reason its still open is because they waived the annual fee this year. Will be hitting the shredder this time next year.

Discover IT $1250 (actively using/still not growing). Close, sockdrawer or run a recurring charge just to keep activity on the card and hope for CLI? Do not close!!! I'm fighting the same battle with Discover and IMO just use the card an take a HP when your util. is low and you've had the card over a year.

Why close an account when you took the INQ/new account hit for it already?

Chase SWA $3000
Chase Amazon $1000

If your not going to use SW RR ans Amazon you have the right idea to see if they will transfer the CL to the Freedom. Also you have the option to app for the CSP and see if they can use the same HP to CLI Amazon and SW RR.

Amex Zync NPSL-Still trying to decide if I am going to PC or not. Green is out of the questions. It would be gold or PRG. Do you put alot of spend though the Unicorn?? If you PC your not going to get any sign up bonus and there is a possibity of having the pay the AF (YMMV). I would go PRG if you spend quite a bit on it (30K spend nets 15 or 25K bonus MR points not sure which)

The Costco card is awesome and is one I would like personally. Sincew you are an AMEX member if declined for card it will only be a SP on your credit.
Anyways, thanks all in advance for your help/suggestions.

They will give you auto love when you lease expect it. Play with the increase CL button online, and even if declined you might see an auto increase later on.. like a month later

You could PC TY to the forward since you're closing out the Amazon Card

If you PC the Zync to PRG you will get 2x MR points on grocery and gas. You won't really need BCE if you have PRG. PRG also comes with "Pay over time" where you can revole a balance for a few months if need be. Also look at the FIA Amex. it gets 2% cash back which can be put into retirement or other type of account

Ditto what others have said. Also, you do know that they accept other AMEX cards at Costco, right? Given the other earning opportunities, I feel like buying Costco gas is one of the few situations where having the TrueEarnings does better than other cards.
Otherwise, I would always take 1 MR point (or 1 Starpoint, 1 Delta SkyMile, etc.) over straight 1% back. If you're already planning on PCing to the Gold/PRG (of which I would choose the PRG), I would put my Costco spend on that. As an added bonus, since you say you will be putting some big ticket items on it, your Costco purchases can help you reach the $30k threshold for the 15k MR bonus on the PRG.
Also, as mentioned, the PRG earns more on travel (up to 4x MR points vs. 2% cash back), though you will lose out on dining. But if you PC to the Forward, you can gain it back!
Sorry for a convoluted post, but I hope that helps!
