CC for Tuition

Does anyone have any suggestions on which credit card provides the best rewards for tuition costs?  I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed before.

Re: CC for Tuition

Are you more interested in cash back or travel rewards?

also have you determined that the university takes credit cards?

I'm more interested in cash back, but I'd definitely consider travel rewards.  And, yes, the University does accept credit cards.

Cashback Fidelity or Quicksilver (2% vs 1.5%)

Travel -- Arrival with AF (2.2% redemption rate with Travel purchase.)

At least, that's just my opinion..

As Far As I Know, most of the universities accept cards with additional Transaction Fee upto (2.75% of the Amount). So I suggest you to check if they have any fees like this.

If not I think Fedility 2% would be a good deal here.

Re: CC for Tuition

Generally I would suggest not putting tuition costs on a credit card, but if you will be paying it off in full rather soon, then it is ok.

As far as rewards, try to find a card that is 2% on everything because I do not think there are any cards that put tuition in for a 5% rotational category. also like another poster wrote, they charge anywhere between 2-3% in fees for using a CC so it really doesn't help you much in rewards

Re: CC for Tuition

I just paid a portion of my tuition on my CC and they do not charge a fee so YMMV.
