I think I applied last Friday or Saturday ( days kinda blending right now) and got a call back on Wednesday. I wasn't home, but I called back yesterday (6 days) and was told that I was denied, not for bad credit, but for high debt to income ratio. I think it is because I did some balance transfers and payoffs/closures that are still showing as open and owing on my CR. Some of them are even duplicated, showing as owing at the old and new card. I explained this to her and she invited me to try back in about 6 months when everything has had time to settle down and I get some util paid down.
I was surprised at the quick turnaround. even for a denial. Nice lady though!
