CHASE CLD

Chase Southwest Card CLD $400 last week!!

Does not matter, it's a signature card, so the highest balance is still going to be reported as my CL and I don't use the account anymore because it's in my debt snowball... but I'm sure this means they are watching it now and will just keep lowering it as I pay it. blah

Re: CHASE CLD

It would be worth it for you and I'm sure if you didn't revolve a 13k balance like I am they wouldn't cld. lol

I didn't say I didn't deserve the cld, but I'm working on it as fast as I can.

Re: CHASE CLD

I appreciate your comments, but frankly, I will not invite Chase into my finances again. I will just reward another bank.

Funny thing, I just flew out this morning and now I'm in CA.:smileyvery-happy:

Re: CHASE CLD

actually when it comes to traveling that much, I like my Amex Charge, they don't need hand holding every time I cross state lines unlike EVERY other bank I carry especially Chase if your charging a lot while out of town.

Re: CHASE CLD

Thanks for the recommendation, but I am banking with NFCU now as much as possible. They have been just a pleasure to work with.

Re: CHASE CLD

Sorry you do not qualify! However, just about any CU will be better than a bank for sometime to come.

Re: CHASE CLD

How long have you had the card and were there any major changes to your report? I'm curious only because I just got the card maybe 45 days ago and have never used it. I'm contemplating a BT and don't want to risk a CLD or rate adjustment.

Re: CHASE CLD

we have had the card for maybe 8 years, product changed it a couple times to get to the Southwest Card.

the funny thing is it had not been used for years because we used it for BT just about maxed it and had been steadily paying it down over 2 years or so and when it got down to probably 30% util they actually increased the CL (which is within a year of now) then we paid it off then started using the card again and just recently (within last 6 months) got it back up towards the limit and the CLD came.

maybe because it was charges vs BT this time to get it up to limit, not sure... I mean big balances with anyone seems to be a trigger these days, so hard to tell... I'm just glad so far it's just been CLD, we have lost a lot of cards in the last year to CLD or closure so I just kind of chalk it up and add it to the list!
