WELL, we were all wrong!i wrote Chase a letter complaining about this and in response i got a mail offer and a different number to call.when i called,-my APR was lowered from 28% to 8%-my monthly payment was cut in half-my account is now reporting current with the credit bureaus.i have a $5,000 balance and this particular account was doing major damage to my scores so YAY. once i get my credit score back up, i might apply for another Chase card after all!

Milk the tradeline you have and keep getting steady increases once you are fully back in good standing. You will keep your average age high and your score will thank you for it.
