Hi flyingmd, I'm gonna quote a guy who writes a pretty popular travel blog (http://travelsort.com/blog/understand-how-your-credit-score-works-to-maximize-credit-card-rewards):
Chase, for example, had a six month rule in the past, where you could only get a new Chase card every six months. This isn’t really the case anymore, though they’re still among the more restrictive for approving multiple cards in a short period of time. One of the things they’ll often offer to do, if you have an existing card, is to cancel it in lieu of a new one (and you still get the sign-up bonus), or shift over some of your credit line to a new card.
It doesnt say anything about business credit cards, but it does say it's pretty tough to get a 2nd Chase card (probably included business + personal?) within a short time. I know I just kinda throw this quote out there, I hope it's of some help.
Let me know please.. Thanks
Have you searched Flyertalk or Milepoint? Those are generally better areas to search for this kind of thing.
Found the thread, the southwest card is the main subject. Read post #'s 154, 220, 229. Looks like it can even be done on the same day. If I had know that back in July I would have filled out the biz app then. Hope this helps.
