Re: CHASE

I started my card with $3300 CL about 2 years ago and now it is at $5300. I have been getting $500 CLI every six months or so with our hard. Once I did ask for CLI and it costed me hard. I got couple of BT offers in the last few days. My card is Starbucks card which is going to change to freedom next months as chase/starbucks relationship ended.

Re: CHASE

I got a chase BP visa last July...limit $2100, then around October I got a CLI of $500.  No hard & no soft that I'd noticed. (didn't purchase a new TU report to check).  I'm waiting to see if they CLI me again in the next couple months....Smiley Wink

I started off with a $6k CL on my Chase Freedom back in late 2005 when I opened it (at the time was 21), it was bumped to $9,500 about a year later (soft auto-increase) and has stayed there since.

Re: CHASE

Got a Southwest Visa (4K and never carry a balance) last June and have had no CLI or BT offers. Funny, upon activation they asked if I wanted to transfer anything, I declined, and haven't heard anything since. I'm considering a product change since I've not run enough money through the card to earn the miles to justify the AF. We'll see in June if they do anything for me.

Re: CHASE

haha, Well I had this card since Jan 09. I guess it's better than nothing you know. It does make this card my highest CL by 50 bucks. I have another chase card with 4500cl.

Re: CHASE

I also was an ex-WAMU cardholder that was transferred to Chase. I lost my job shortly after and fell behind in my payments. Not my choice, but the economy didn't give me an option...Anyway...still unemployed but continued sending payments to Chase. Not the required payments but sending what I could, hoping this would show me making an effort.....Afterall, I didnt receive a BAIL-OUT......anyhow, went online last month to make a payment to Chase, and to my surprise, they had turned me over to a collection agency (no notification whatsoever). My question is....Can they do this to a consumer who was sending in payments and they were accepting them and cashing them?????

Re: CHASE

Opened my Chase Perfect card June of 2009 and was given initial CL of $2400, which is where it still stands.

June statement drops on the 18th so I'm interested to see if I'll get any kind of increase at this 1 yr anniversary.
