CITI AAdantage CLI clarification

I have had my CITI AAdvantage platinum select card since 4/30...I am curious about how CITI is with CLI's? When do I know if asking for a CLI is a SP or HP? How often do most people find themselves getting CLI's from CITI? Any information would be great, thanks

Citi allows a CLI every 6 months. 

If the form asks you for an amount you'd like your new CL to be then its a HP, if it doesn't ask then its a SP.

IME, Citi is decent w/ SP CLIs every six months. The form itself tells you if it will be a SP or an HP. Most SP CLIs are in the $1200-1800 range (though larger do occasionally happen), so if you want a more dramatic increase and your file supports it, you may entertain taking the HP.
