CITI CLI Question

I have 2 citi accounts -  a diamond that is 12 months old a citi bank pro account.

When looking at the accounts online in the request a CLI section. On my diamond account it says a credit report will not be used and on my pro account that I have had for 8 years it says a credit report will be used.

I am at the 6-month mark on my diamond and wanted to request a CLI , but not if its a hard pull.  Is it better to request online or over the phone with them?

Citi is a bit of a toss up with hard pull or soft pull. I have had luck with this link but YMMV:

Exactly what the verbiage on the account said.  One account will be a softpull and the other will be a hard pull and it doesn't matter if the request is made online or via phone.
