CITI CLI?

I was reading some old posts about the auto cli and the website link, but was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with them.  I just hit 6 mo's with them on a 0% BT card, no lates, paid above min, scores are right around the same as when I got the card and I am just wondering if I have a shot at a CLI.  Anyone hit the button on the website with good results?  Any thoughts?

Go for it, if it denies you, call them up and ask for a reconsideration.  It worked for me.  Denied then retried!!

Re: CITI CLI?

Go for it. Citi seems to be generous with CLI's.

Re: CITI CLI?

It seems to me if they are offering it on your statement there they will give it to you. I just clicked the button and they increased me from 3380 to 5900! So that was nice. They also didn't pull my report.

Though I did ask to reopen another a closed account with them and they did pull for that. But that's me rambling on. Smiley Wink

So when you logged in you had the "request CLI" button?  I have two cards with them, one says "balance transfer offer" and the other says "request CLI".

Re: CITI CLI?

Just check with mine and Citi will do a hard pull should you request it.

Re: CITI CLI?

I actually clicked the transfer balance one. It had the option there to increase my credit limit by whatever amount it was to do the balance transfer. Then on top of that they increased it $2000 or so more after the balance transfer and I didn't even ask for that.

I think I had about 1000 dollars available credit. I did a 1500 transfer and they ended up increasing it almost 2000 more than they said on the balance transfer page. Hope that makes sense.
