Re: CITI CLI?

Maybe because I did the BT is why they didn't do the Hard pull. I don't know? Or maybe I was just lucky.

Re: CITI CLI?

Possible. I have the AA miles Citicard so maybe there's a difference? But yeah, doesn't sound like yours was a hard pull. I have a limit of 5k but I want more to ease up on my util percentage.

I was reading some old posts about the auto cli and the website link, but was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with them.  I just hit 6 mo's with them on a 0% BT card, no lates, paid above min, scores are right around the same as when I got the card and I am just wondering if I have a shot at a CLI.  Anyone hit the button on the website with good results?  Any thoughts?

Yep, hit the button on DF's Citi Sears MC last October.  Cl at the time was $3900, requested CLI to $7K, didn't get as much as she wanted but was approved for $5100.  Was not instant.  The next day, the new CL just showed up.

They say that there are two possiblities when you click the button: either you'll get an instant CLI with no hard pull, or you'll have to fill out a form and that will result in a hard pull.  That's what they say, anyway.

DF had to fill out the form, but got no hard pull.

Be aware that the online CLI request form requires your banking info.  I still don't know why.

Re: CITI CLI?

My girlfriend just got approved for their platinum select mc for 12,500cl.. I know what they did was just match whatever highest cl you have already.. She'll opened 2 mos ago.. will wait a couple months before putting down the cli button usually after 6mos on good history.. goodluck.

Re: CITI CLI?

I have a Citi Platinum Select.  Good card, has BT offer and 0% for 1 year.  I have a link that I can't post here but if you PM me your E-mail address, I'll send your name to Citi and they will send you the same offer.  P.S.  Did I word this in a way that is ok to post....?  Mods?

Re: CITI CLI?

You'll get one in 6 months from opening if you use the card pretty regular and aren't late.  Citi is not real easy to please but easier than some.
