CL Balancing Between Two Cards

Specifically Cap1 and in general for others:

Account combination seems to get the most press. Combine and close. I am looking to move a partial CL to another card within Cap1 and keep both open.

The higher one is too high for my comfort level and raises possible issues with lack of sufficient utl. 

it possible to move a partial CL over with Cap1? I found data that didn’t focus so much on keeping both open.

Unfortunately, no. Capital One does not do partial CL reallocations. It's either a full combination or leaving them as separate accounts.

@busted2, what's the limit and a typical balance on each card? Which products are these cards (Quicksilver, Savor, or whatever)?

I recently got a CLI from $4,400 to $7,400 on a Capital One card. Preceding the CLI, I shifted as much spending as possible from other cards. Maybe that's feasible with your lower limit card.
