CLI Question. Help please

Hey everyone. I just recieved and CLI on my JCrew and Ulta cards. I made a small purchase with them both because I want the new limit to be reported. My question is do I have to let them report a balance? Or can I pay them off and they will still report the limit increase?

You can pay them off, any purchase activity will cause a statement to be cut. Im going thru the same right now.
