Re: CLI Today??

Despite the popularity of the meme, don't rely solely on usage or number of statements.  Your credit profile and income are always primary factors with any creditor.

Re: CLI Today??

Thanks, Takeshi74,

I agree with you, and knew there were no guarantees.

What my profile doesn't show is:

Negatives: Paid tax lien (Equifax & Experian)  and 12 hard inquiry's in last 3 months.

Positives: Credit Union Auto loan $6000.00 with no lates and $60,000.00 income 5 years on job.

In my planning for another Luv Button attempt next month, I wonder if bumping up my usage will help with a larger increase?

MrAmish Capital One can be unpredictable at times.  I have gotten increases after three months when I have opened 10 recent accounts with many inquiries and I have been  denied an increase when I have shown consistent usage and sizable payments.  Keep trying and explore other options as well.  While Cap One gave me my start when I was rebuilding, I have many cards now that meet certain needs, so they get more activity.   I'm sure that the reason that my increases haven't been as consistent or sizable with Cap One as they have been in the past and it's all good!    And your paid tax lien, move that to the positive side, lol!

Re: CLI Today??

Update!

Capital One response said "account to new" NO CLI Smiley Happy

The good news...

I just got approved for and purchased a brand new Nissan Van ($23,000.00) Through Nissan Credit yesterday,

.............and this morning I got approved for a Barclays Rewards with $750 limit!

This takes away the sadness of no CLI with Capital One lol!

Should I call Barclays and ask for a CLI? If so, how much should I ask for?
