CLI for Secured BOA CC ??

Hi

I have secured BOA CC from 04/2007 with $500 CL,no late payments n high balances.
Can I ask for a CLI now ? Is it a gud idea, asking for CLI of a secured CC?

They only way to get a CLI on a secured BofA card is to put in more money. So, if you want $300 more, you need to give them $300 more. If the card graduated from secured to unsecured, like the 99/500 card, you could probably ask them once it converts. If that is your case, it'll probably convert in April with on-time payments.

My CC is 99/500 type. we paid 99$ n got $500 CL in 04/2007 itself.
bcoz we opened checkings n savings a/cs with them in april.

Your card should graduate to a unsecured card in April. Some people have posted that their cards graduated as early as 9 months. I think you can ask for a CLI at that time.

Hi

I got my BOA CC like that no graduation nothing,I paid 99$ n they gave me 500$ CL
along with the BOA a/c's.

from 04/2007 i have been using it n paying more than minimum payment,never late on payments.

I saw that LUV button "Request for CLI" in my online account screen.

Hi

I requested for CLI for my BOA online today.

I got this msg:
"Your request has been submitted. You will receive a written decision in 5 to 7 business days."

Can I get the CLI now ?need to wait for some more time??
did anybody get this kind of msg from BOA before ????

I too have the BoA partial secured Visa Platinum, or the 99/500 cc as we put it.

3 weeks ago I requested a cli, and they sent me a letter that on this particular cc, there is no cli available to it.

But the CSR I talked to after I got the letter told me with pristine pay history, no over the limit, it will be moved into an unsecured card status in a year.

Hi again Hi-All. Yes, BoA pulled Experian on me. Not once but twice!

Once for my original app for the Visa Platinum Plus...was declined for that, but they counter offered with the 99/500 cc, saying I was pre-approved for that one. So I applied and they did a hard inq for the 99/500 card(about a week later).
