Decided to call Sams club and JCPennys and ask for increase. Sams went from $1100 to $2500. Asked JCpenny to increase my $1000 to $2500 and they counter offered $500 instead.
did you take soft or hard inquires for the CLIs? Also, had you been using those cards and were you running balances on them (was there a balance at time of CLI request).
Sams was SP because l asked before making my request, however l accepted the increase from Penny's before inquiring whether it was HP or Sp. The rep kept telling me l had to ask the credit bureau for the answer. I insisted on speaking to someone who knew the answer and they eventually told me it was sp. I'm not confident with that answer though .
