CLI increase question

I have an app with Amex that is currently pending, I'm told that it will likely be decided upon this Tuesday. Here are my questions:

1.) Is this a stupid time to ask for a CLI on my BoA card? It's my lowest CL.

2.) Will a CLI with BoA and Citi be a hard or soft pull?

I would determine if it was the righ time to aske for a CLI based on how long it has been since my last CLI, nothing else.

I would also take into consideration how much my reports have improved, just in case they are HP's for the CLI. No sense in taking an INQ for 500.00 bump if my score hasnt changed much.

Citi and BofA will likely be a HP. Citi could possibly be a SP but I wouldn't count on it. Has AMEX already pulled your credit?

Well, Amex HPed me on 8-27 for the Delta Skymiles card--does this mean they won't HP me for the BCP?
