CLI....is there a method I should follow??

Hi all!

I absolutely love this forum....I'm literally addicted to reading the posts and like most people I've learned a great deal.  I've come back from the bankruptcy grave and in the process of rebuilding from that nightmare.  But, I'm a bit confused on how to ask for CLI....do I wait until a certain number of statements, should I pay off my balance first, or wait a required amount of time before I ask?  I've read most posts and yet still I can't figure it out.  Any information would be greatly appreciated Smiley Happy

Prior to asking for CLI would be best to PIF the account first... Please post what cards you want to get a CLI on if you want us to give you help on them as all are different. Welcome to the board Smiley Happy

Each bank is a little different on how often you can request (and actually expect success).  Your best chance for a cli with any bank is to show you use your credit responsibly.

Banks like to give more credit to those who don't "need" it.  When your balances are low or 0 your chances are always better than if the card is maxxed out.
