Hi all!
So I have four Capital One cards (Platnium, QS MC, Venture One and Sony).
I carried balances on them before to show good monthly payment pattern and then recently paid them all off completely. A CSR via chat told me that I would be eligible for CLI's on all cards on 3.23.2016 because it would be exactly 6 months since my last CLI all at the same time for all the cards.
But just to be stubborn, I tried the LUV button anyway on all four.. Venture One gave me a 1K CLI (I denied it) and then for the other three, they only gave me 150 increase, which I denied all three.
But then to experiment, I went back and did it again, and then the CLIs went up to $400 each (just a few hours after the initial request). I denied those too.
Has this happened to anyone else? I want to wait out for a bigger CLI on all of them. I never paid late, my overall utilization across my CR is 12%.
I have small credit limits on these cares.. $1,900, $1,900, $2,000 and $1,600 and I have had them for about 2 years.
Do you guys think I should wait for a bigger CLI or is that the best that's going to happen and I should just accept them?
Ahh, sorry! That was a typo--the $2,000 was supposed to say "$4,000" for the V1
The 1k offer for the Venture One I might take now. The other ones you could wait on - it's up to you. I had a card from them that offered a 1k increase. I denied it, and tried again a month or 2 later, and still had the same 1k offer - so I took it. My other card was offered 3k the first try, so Cap1 can be strange at times.

Thank you for your advice! I will do that.. I'll take the 1K for the Venture One and then later on try again for the other ones, and what ever is offered, I'll take and then hope for a better increase in 6 months.
