You're asking to be bumped from $5k? What'd you ask for? $20k? How long have you been at $5k?
I recently joined State Dept and am planning to pull the trigger soon with an app.

This account will be back to reporting the way it should for all CRAs in a few days. It is worth noting that the address change over the phone did not work to get a mid-cycle update, but the online address change did work.
When I logon to do this.. it says that it can't because it's already on file? Are you changing it to a different address entirely? Just wondering. Thanks! Congrats on all your successes!

Yes, asking for $20k. I have a feeling that the process would be the same if I was asking for $6k though. It seems to take a few days to do anything with this CU. It took me a few weeks and a carefully thought-out recon letter faxed to their Alexandria office to get the card. But I have had this card at $5k for over 1 year. I use it frequently and have never paid less than the statement balance... often I pay more. I have never paid interest. You would think they would give me some more credit. Still waiting though.

I think I mentioned this in an earlier post in this thread, but basically, BoA has made it harder to do the mid-cylce updates with an address change. I added a line to my address to get it to change, and later changed it back to the original address. I got an email confirmation from BoA that the address was changed. This is when the mid-cycle updates were sent. It's not as easy anymore, but this was the first time that I really needed to do it since I had planned these apps very carefully and didn't want to wait.
SDFCU Update:
I received an email from SDFCU stating that I was approved for an increase to $15k, pending the underwriters receive an explanation of an address overlap on my Experian credit report. I sent an email back with the requested explanation and even tried calling, but was told over the phone to wait for the underwriters to review my emailed explanation.
It looks like I could have received a great CLI. Still waiting though.... SDFCU has some serious and overly time-consuming lending standards. I will note that I went through similar undertakings to get this card in the first place.
Its official!
I just logged into my SDFCU account and saw that my credit line has been increased to $15k from $5k!
This is the end of my log. Every creditor that I asked for an increase gave me one and the new card that I applied for was approved. I can only say that this endeavor was probably successful because I started with a few good cards, gardened them for over 1 year, and reduced my utilization to almost nothing. I am very happy that it worked.
