CLI on CSP?

SO, I have have my CSP for 7 months now.  In that time I have spent 19k on this card, my last inquiry was in April and Before that December.  Todays score shows 753 on MyFico and my curent utilization is 19%.

I have PIF every statement since I've had my CSP, do you think I should ask for more than the 5k I was approved for?

Since its going to be a HP either ways, I would just ask for the highest possible realistic number and let them counter with whatever.

I asked for a lot during my last CLI and they only came up 500 short of what I asked.

Right now my highest CL is 6k, I was going to ask for 10K.  Do you think it would be better to ask for 15 or 20 and let them counter?

Ask for whatever would seem reasonable for you.  They will let you know either way, and like enharu posted above, if you are going to incur the HP, why not request as high as possible (within reason of course).  They will definitely review your spend pattern but will take other factors into account of course.  Best of luck!

With a 750+ score, I assume you have zero derogs on file.

If you don't have a lot of new accounts or inquiries, and have a solid length of credit history, I would just ask for around 20k and let them counteroffer if they can't do that.

No derogs but I do have two new accounts this year (CSP in January and Freedom in March).

Go for it! The worst they can say is no.

So I called in and asked for 15, they countered for 10.  I guess that's better tha nothing since I got hit with a HP.

Awesome - double is better than nothing... and considering the CSP is not even 1 year old so this is a very good outcome with the HP.
