However I think the current offer of 40k for 4k spend will stay the same this year
Last year I think it went 40k for 3k spend at one point around Christmas IIRC
Look at it from Chase eyes why give a better offer if demand is high anyway .....offers are meant to attract new client either for a new product or product lacking response
CSP isn't having that problem IMHO

I'm going to guess that if the marketing department puts an October 22 deadline on the current offer, it's not because they have a better offer waiting to launch on October 23.
More likely, the offer somehow gets worse on October 23, and it would take (guessing) 6 months or more for a new "new improved" offer to surface from that October 23 reduced offer, which may very well be 40,000 points for $4k spend.
