CSP CLI

Hey guys I have a question about the CLI on the CSP. I got it 3 months ago with a CL of $7200 on the CSP and I have already spend $14K (paid all), my question is if it is possible that they would approve me for CLI for 15k or more? I read that chase doesn't give a lot of auto CLI or SP CLI. I don't wanna do a HP. Thanks!

Re: CSP CLI

Chase only does HP increases if you request them. My GF went from 6.5k to 7.7k automatically at 9 months and I've read others getting auto cli around 6-9 months. Can't say the at they'll double your limit, but if you keep the high spend up for the next few months you may get some decent auto luv..

Re: CSP CLI

For SP CLI with Chase, its all covered in a shroud of mystery...

from what i have read, there is no exact rhyme or reason on whether you might get a SP CLI or not,

im guessing its totally random and they use throwing darts to figure who would be randomly selected. but im just guessing.

Re: CSP CLI

My DW got her Freedom and then 4 months later an auto-CLI (500->1000), then she got her CSP and after 6 months auto-CLI (5k->6k). I have my Freedom 7 months now and nothing.

I have read some reports from people asking about a SP CLI by secure message (like 2 reports). I'm thinking about sending a SM after 9 months with the card, to ask them for a review and a possible SP CLI, I will not approve a HP. Maybe I'll get anothe Chase (IHG or AARP) after my Freedom is 1 year old and transfer some limit.

Good luck

Re: CSP CLI

I got an auto CLI on my CSP at exactly 3 months, which was last week. I was on vacation too and was using 20% of the available credit (used it for hotels), and when I went online to check my charges I noticed they gave me a $2500 increase. This is with a ton of new accounts reporting too, as Chase was one of the first accounts I applied for during my app spree.

Thanks for the Chase Info. By the way, do you always PIF? I am trying to figure if that is the best way to get a Auto CLI. Thanks

Re: CSP CLI

Or Horseshoes? LOL. Sounds a lot like Synchrony Bank. You could run 10k on their cards, PIF, and still get denied for a CLI. At the same time, somebody who only makes a $5 purchase every three months gets a 3x Auto CLI.  Alas....
