CSP Cardholders Who Are NOT Applying for a CSR

Show of hands?

For me, the CSP is a better deal right now. In order to account for the AF being $55 more after the $300 travel credit, I'd have to use other cards less for general purchases, and I'm not a card pumper & dumper so I really don't care about the signup bonus value in year one. Plus who knows, maybe we get grandfathered in to the CSR eventually with our $95 vs. $150 AFs.

Re: CSP Cardholders Who Are NOT Applying for a CSR

An annual fee of 450 is a little steep for MY spending patterns at This moment in time. I'm not a big fan of opening and closing accounts after a year or two. I prefer taking a long term view approach. So for me, no CSR for now. Of course that could change in the future.

Re: CSP Cardholders Who Are NOT Applying for a CSR

The card looks good, and the fee is comparable to what I have so no issue there, just that Chase's transfer partners are not MY partners for the most part so pass on this one.....

Re: CSP Cardholders Who Are NOT Applying for a CSR

It's worth noting that the AF is not really $150. It's $450. You still need to use up the $300 travel credit which for somebody like me is actually quite hard to do. I'd literally have to find things to buy to use the credit on lol

Re: CSP Cardholders Who Are NOT Applying for a CSR

None at all. Before the CSP, I was on 0/24. Now, I have the CSP and Discover. so I am at 2/24.

My dream team for credit cards is CSP, Freedom, and FU. don't care about others. so after all that, I'll be at 4/5, with no interest in another card.

Re: CSP Cardholders Who Are NOT Applying for a CSR

I am actually good with the CSP. I feel that having the Freedom with it make it more like 3X dining and travel on category spending. Maybe in the long term future but not now LOL
