It's been awhile since I've been on here. I started couple years ago and my goal was to one day own a CSP. Last week, I decided it was time to apply for the CSP and ended up getting the 7-10 pending message. I called in the next day with the backdoor number and the lady told me it was declined due to my low income, which I expected because my only income is my internship. She told me my income is way too low for the minimum $5000 credit limit and I told her my BCE had a limit of $5600 at the time. She said it didn't matter and I went on telling her that my Freedom card was $4000 which I asked if she could move some of the limit over to the CSP for approval. She replied saying the only way is to close the freedom card. I asked her if there's anyway I can keep the freedom card by dropping the credit limit down $500. She put me on hold for about 15-20 minutes and came back to tell me it's approved! All that hard work finally paid off and I thought there was no way I will be able to get a CSP while still in college.

$500 on the Freedom is just fine. Mine is only $1,500.
now to get working on meeting min spend :-) then you will have nearly 45000 UR points to play with :-)

I timed it perfectly with my car insurance and tuition payments, so I shouldn't have a problem meeting the spending bonus.

You prefer they give them to you for ticket, huh.
no they should get much better value!!! fly business class somewhere in the US at the very least with all those points!!
