CSP SUB Question

For those of you who have taken advantage of the CSP SUB offer, will purchasing gift cards (specifically reloading an Amazon balance) work towards the 4k purchase threshhold?

Chase would most likely exclude cash equivalent. I'm sure that's clearly stated in TOS.

Chase is a little loose with terminology as their standard offer details refer to "wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions" as not counting as purchases.   Money orders and travelers checks are specifically excluded. 

Personally I wouldn't risk it but I dislike when there is (IMO) a needless lack of clarity.

Thanks, yeah I can't really seem to decipher. I understand there's a "tracker" in the app to monitor purchases towards the SUB and was curious if any had any luck with something like an amazon giftcard or something of similar nature.

Edit: would also be curious if tuition counts as well?

Shouldn't be a problem for tuition.

If you do a small amount of giftcards added to other purchases it's unlikely to matter.
