I will give BA a try in my next lookup against United. What are your redemption rates, also around 2ct per point? What is a good redemption rate? My view would be everything better than 1:1.5..
The same reason they transfer to other domestic airlines?

They don't. Hence the quoted statement that " I'd go for their card but sadly they don't transfer to United which is the airline I fly the most." i,e, the card is no use for flying united

yes. I thought i read somehwere there is also an 50k UAL card offer floating around, if you want access to star alliance partners.
