I use amex gold and am app'ing for the CSR, and interchange spend between these two cards depending on points I want to accumulate.
Amex $250 AF, $220 in perks, so $30 net fee to get 4x MR on restaurants, groceries, and 3x MR on airlines.
CSR - $450 AF with $600 value ($300 travel credit and PP membership valued at $300 if buying separately). 3x restaurants and travel UR points. I was using a chase southwest card, but realized I'm leaving a lot of points on the table as CSR UR points easily transfer to Southwest, United and other airlines and a few hotels.
To me, the $700 in AF is covered by the benefits ($520 in restaurant/travel credits, $300 PP membership, global entry fee waiver every 4 years, etx). I interchange between MR and UR depending on which I want to accrue points.
