Ok so a few thoughts I have had questions about. So right now i just recently was approved for a Amex Surpass and Barclay Arrival WEMC. Off course now I have the itch. Mind you I would not get the Freedom or CSP for a couple months. Here are a few questions:
I was recently added as an AU on a few of my family's gas cards. Both of these accounts were opened in 1999. Will this factor into my AAoA? Right now my AAoA with the two new accounts is 1 yr so this should cause that to shoot up if it is factored.
Another question is are private label cards factored into my credit score the same way regular cards are. One of the AU is a private label Exxon card.
My other question is will these two AU accounts be seen by Barclay and Amex as new trade lines therefore they may become suspicous specifically Barclay. If they do see them this way should I really hold off for like 6 months on either of the two chase accounts?
Last what do you guys think of the Freedom and CSP combo. I was thinking of getting the Freedom and then waiting on the CSP due the spending requirement. I would wait until I know I can get the bonus. Thank you guys!

yes private label is same as regular credit cards but au are not always counted by some banks.
i would get chase freedom now and then do CSP in 6 months.
Ok does any know if chase takes AU in consideration. I know normally under manual review they wont becuase someone actually looks at. Anyone know if the automated system does?

I believe yes.
How are the AU accounts going to be view by Barclay and Amex? Do you think they will cause a red flag or be overlooked becuase they are reporting as being from 1999. I know you guys obviously dont work for Barclay but I figure you have more experience than I do. I just dont want to go and get the Freedom and cause a red flag with Amex and Barclay

It's been widely reported that Chase discounts AU's TLs In their scoring algorithms.

If they figured in AU in my opinion it would be member since 1999. Not as member since 2014. Adding to your AAoA. If they didn't figure in AU they wouldn't be counted at all for AAoA.

Ok so one says yes and one says no. Any one else have experinces with Chase taking AU accounts into consideration? Another question would they even factor into AAoA for Chase app or would they just completely ignore them in all respects?
