I did a myfico, and it's at 750 btw. I guess that's not considered a FAKO lol
Little update... got a call from capital one Exec office... best they could do for me was give me the quicksilverone card which wasn't the one I wanted... They said they would have to do a hard pull for the quicksilver, but quicksilver one will be a soft pull. Also has the AF
I said fine and let them give me that for now. but I will most likely cancel it as it makes no sense to have such a high apr stupid card with probably a low limit...
Looking to see what card I can get for utilities so we can use it to pay GEICO, and, AT&T and Comcast. that right there is 600 bucks a month... over the year that's 7200 bucks. US BANK cash+ would be pretty sweet, but it's only 2 places at 5%... 7200 at 5% over the year would be awesome... Thought maybe I can get one, and the wife can get one. This way we have 4 5% cashback places...

Joltdude, I opened 3, which 2 were hard pulls. eh I guess I'll just let it go. It feels like huge savings being thrown away though.... 600 bucks a month with 5% cashback sounds pretty good... Like I said, maybe I can get wife to do that one.
I've heard before on here that for the Cash + US Bank likes to see a minimum 6 month history for all your cards and no inquiries in that time. Also virtually all of the apps go for manual review. I've been researching because I want that to be my next card, eventually.

Cash Plus wouldn't help you out on any of that except for AT&T Cell Phone Bills

I think you risk getting denied for US Bank, with the recent inquiries. You also should freeze your IDA & ARS reports before apping US Bank
Yeah, looks like I'll mention it to the wife... see if she thinks it's worthy of doing. I really want that utility cashback. I'm gonna stay low for a little while now as I applied for 3 cards with 3 inquiries. What is this "garden" thing I hear about? use the credit card little at a time for a year or so to build history?
