You might get approved but not on the best of terms

If you have the CSP already I would say your chances for the Freedom are pretty hgh.  Why don't you check Chase's pre-app if the Freedom comes up then your golden it will also let you know the interest rate.

I did then same thing after I was approved for the CSP checked Pre-app and it came with a 13.99% so I applied.  GL.

Another great advantage is the UR mall I always check there before I buy something to see what the bonus points are going to be if a buy an item thru the UR.  I also check amazon and other website to make sure I am getting a good deal.

Ex. I bought a pair of shoes for $179 got 15x bonus points plus 1x from Chase.  That comes out to over 2500 points for just buying something I needed anyway.  I have noticed that the same store usually has a better bonus on the Freedom site than going thru CSP UR.  I got the shoes from onlineshoes.com on CSP it was 7x on Freedom it was 15x.

Re: CSP and Freedom combo

So you guys feel I have a chance of Freedom even though I was approved for the CSP less than 30 days ago?

Re: CSP and Freedom combo

You think they are inquiry sensitive or will they look more at the fact that they just approved me for one of their harder to get cards? What do you guys think?

They aren't sensitive like Barclay's is Smiley Happy

IF they were I wouldn't have any of their cards lol

That's why the OP should go on Chase's website first they are very accurate.  If it comes up Freedom he/she is golden.

If you can get 15.99% with chase you are pretty close your knocking on 13.99% door you are just hoping he opens.  LOL

Re: CSP and Freedom combo

Oh that's funny. Considering the amount of inquiries I have Barclay still approved me for the arrival+. So maybe I will have no problem with chase freedom

It will take 30 seconds to check Chase for pre-approvals.  Do it and come back and let us know what it says.  It won't affect your credit score so there is no harm in trying.

Re: CSP and Freedom combo

I checked but for some reason every time I check their pre approval tool they give me this error. "We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time.

This may be because you have opted out of "prescreened" offers from Chase
and other companies or you have recently responded to another offer from Chase.

However, we may still have products to meet your needs. Please continue to Chase.com."
