CSP in Germany

Hi guys,

I just came back from a trip in Germany and used my CSP for all transactions over there.

What can I say, all transactions worked perfectly. I mainly used the card at shopping malls/stores and restaurants. They always used the Chip instead if the magnetic stripe.

Yes. Not major issue. I lived in Mainz. Never issue using cards. Even chip andsig. Maybe at train station at night . Or kiosk.

Good to hear. I don't really expect problems in Germany since they were/are chip and signature.

I'll be testing out CSP in Germany in the near future.

I have heard, though, that some restaurants are chip/pin only and can't process chip/signature.  Perhaps they are in locations far from major cities, but I'll give it a shot and see if they'll take the chip/signature CSP.
