Where do you stand with 5/24?
If you've been denied 2 X on CSP what were the reasons?
1099/SP makes things interesting when you try to gain new cards from what I've seen over the years. The $500 DD to the Chase account might make things more complicated if Chase thinks you're only making that per cycle on your checks.
For UR's you could go for a starter card like CF/CFU to get the ball rolling and show Chase some experience with your spend / payments to open the doors to CSP / CIP.
I am not sure about your chances on getting approved, but i can tell you as far as CSP vs CIP. I like CIP for the 3x travel and cell phone insurance. I have 4x on restaurants with my Amex gold card , so I don’t think i would ever use CSP or CSR for that matter for restaurants. Some of Chase biz cards are definitely underrated CIP and ink cash are pretty good cards for what they do.

The only real roadblock is I think the CIP is the harder card to get of the two because more often than not they go to UW for manual review. Because the OP has a legitimate business I don't think they would have any issues if recon is necessary. Yet those previous denials for the CSP concern me as well.
