I think I am leaning towards the CSP as I do like staying at All inclusive s as well which aren't Marriotts. I like the flexibility of the CSP.

I'm leaning towards the Citi DC and CSP and using my travel on the Arrival then dumping it.

Why are you looking at the CSP rather than the CSR?

If your answer is the $450 AF, then you'll best be served by getting the CSR, using the $100 Global Entry Credit (if you don't already have Global Entry), $300 travel credit this year and then the $300 travel credit again next year, and then downgrading to the CSP for the lower annual fee.

No worries, CSR isn't for everyone.  CSP will have the waived first year AF and if you find out you use the card enough to justify the CSR (or justify the benefits of the CSR) you could always apply for the CSR when the CSP's AF comes due (so in a year) and PC the CSP to a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited.  This way too you get the big bonuses from both the CSP and the CSR.

What I wouldn't do is transfer your UR points earned from your CSP to Marriott unless you are just needing a few to top off the balance for a redemption or if you are going to be able to do one of the hotel + airfare packages.  You would do better using those points for airfare or for Hyatt stays, where the points are much more valuable.

I would go with CSR instead of CSP. ($300 automatic travel credit makes the AF $150)  You must be within 5/24 so you can grab the 100k UR's as well as using Chase portal at a higher rate. If you don't want to pay the $450 AF later, you can PC to CSP and save the extra $55 per year.

ETA: better yet, PC CSR to FU later and grab a 50k bonus on the CSP then keep the combo (end up with 150k bonus, CSP/FU combo)
