Only if you NEED to and has the best APR% for Balance transfers since it has a 15.99% APR but generally no. I would get the Chase Slate which is the best BT card since it offers no BT Fee if a BT is done in the first 60 days.. If not wanting to get another Chase the Citi simplicity is decent since it offers 18 months and has no late fees , no penalty APR should you late a payment and etc

Re: CSP question

you CAN, but I'm pretty sure there is no intro APR, so you'll be paying a 3% BT fee and 15.99% APR

Re: CSP question

Unless you have a 0% BT offer for the CSP.  I received one the other day for mine and it was a 0% for 12 months with a 2% fee.  Otherwise, i would recommend getting the Slate card.

Personal and Business Cards: 31 with 763k
High Limit Cards: CSP 50k | BoA Cash 81k | NFCU flagship 60k | Penfed Rewards 50k | Aviator Silver 52k

Personally imo if you really dont want another app, the CSP is fine if that has your best APR% since it saves a HP

Well, it depends on the rates on the other cards and the amount involved.  Unless the 15.99% is much less, the upfront fee is going to eat a lot of the savings.  If the idea is to carry the balance for a longish period, and the balance is not small, an HP might be a small price to pay.

Yes of course but I would only take a HP if you are at least 75% sure of getting the card.  For me for example the 3 siggy cards I have with Chase are also the Best APR% cards IF you don't factor in the promo 0%. my lowest APR% is on my CS, CSP and Marriott with 15.99% myself.   Unless you have something better then 15.99% the CSP is a decent card for Balance transfers assuming you don't want to take a HP/ Can't get a Slate or any other card with 0% APR for BT's.

Re: CSP question

Is 15.99% as low as CSP and Chase Marriott will go?
