CSP signup bonus question

Good Afternoon all,

I just pulled the trigger on a CSP and was approved for 10,800. I previously had a CSP from Dec 12' but since then PC'd it to the Freedom. Does anybody know if i will receive the signup bonus or not? This is a new line of credit but im not too sure? Anyone have a clue?

Lender pulled 10-10-13

only way to know for sure is to call chase.

generally, the rule is that you cannot have the CS / CSP within the past 12 months.

However, if for any reason the system has flagged you, then the duration for which you are disqualified for the sign-up bonus may be longer.

Edit: nevermind, seems like it that you won't qualify based on T&C. Not sure if they changed it recently, but this is what the T&C states:

This one-time bonus offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts. Previous and existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for this bonus offer.

Re: CSP signup bonus question

Chase is usually one bonus per card type.  If your previous CSP was a Mastercard and this one is a Visa, that should count as a different card and you would get another bonus.  If not, you most likely will not get another bonus, though some people do get lucky and slip through the cracks.

I don't think the rewards applies to people that held the card before. I'm not sure but you check on that again. Some lenders allow you rewards after 2/3 years of having the card.I believes it has to do with the card churning that went down years ago.
