I sent a secure message requesting this and received a reply withing 30 minutes (love how fast they are).
I didn't ask for rush shipping but they have done that anyway.
I did ask whether the account number or 3 digit code would change and this is what they sent back:
"Please be assured that this will not change your account number, however, the three digit code has been changed."
Others in here said the 3 digit code wouldn't change so I am curious to see if this actually happens. A small inconvenice if it does change but it doesn't take long to update everything so it isn't a big deal.
My security code was the same when my chipped card came.
any update on CSP MC version?
i applied visa last year by mistake, like to convert to world MC version with EMV, i heard some lucky guy/gal get 2nd year annual fee waived by converting.

Chase is transitioning to Visa for CSP from my understanding, no new MC and existing MC will be converted eventually

I tried twice to get the EMV CSP, both times I've gotten sent my regular CSP without an EMV. I am giving up as I know have 2 spare cards.
Do you have a World MasterCard CSP? That's what happened when I made my first request for an EMV version of my WMC CSP. On second request the CSR indicated that EMV is only available on Visa.

I received the new card today and my code was the same. Happy I don't have to change that anywhere
when i was activating my CSP i asked the CSR if I could have a card with EMV chip sent and she said I had to wait until my account has been open for 1 month. Does anyone know if this is true? Should I try a different approach?

I applied on November 1st, so I only had my card for couple days. I sent them a secure message and they said they will send me one with an EMV chip in a couple days.

thanks for the info. I sent a secure message. Funny how you can talk to seperate CSR's and get completely different results in the credit world. Never take no for an answer I guess when it comes to credit, at least not until you are told no by at least 5 different CSR's and 1 myfico.com forum member. ;D
So on Oct 31st, I asked for the EMV, I have now gotten 3 Non-EMV cards in 11 days. I have had over 20 Secure Messages, and my last one I asked for a 10k UR point courtesy, they responded and said my card is on the way and that they could only give me 2.5k, well I got the card today and low and behold it was my 3rd CSP and it was a NON-EMV, so I responded and ask for the 7.5 thats remaing for the 10k I asked for. Hopefully they come back and give it to me. I now have 4 CSP cards all with NON-EMV.
I feel like I should just give up, but the 2.5k courtesy points are nice, hopefully they feel compelled to give me more. I might talk to a EO office member and see what they can offer on top of the 2.5k
