although radpad currently doesn't allow chase credit cards or is it android pay or both... anyways won't work currently although rumor has it starting next month through end of year it will be free and work for chase CC.  Currently you are SOL w/regards to chase cc's

Plastiq I am unaware of if they allow Chase CC or if they are blocked as well.   Google  a bit and hopefully you will find your information.

Forgot about that.. though it's a moot point now..

Wow what BS...  Gee you think you are going to be overwhelmed?  They got great PR, but now it is going to backfire on them since they can't live up to their end of the deal.

So if you can use platiq with Chase which I am not sure you can it would be cheaper than RadPad rates if you need help meeting min spend and live in an apartment or whatever where you pay rent.

I agree.  I have no need for the service but it's a crock that they didn't expect this kind of response.  I'd be willing to bet that they were the ones that contacted the various blogs to promote the 0%.  They just used to get people to use thier service and hope some won't notice the change back to a 3% fee.

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

When I pick the card up and it's gets to me I will probably meet the spend bonus in one transaction. Is it bad to put a massive business expense on it and then pay it off in full right away?

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

The holidays and all the spending associated with it are coming up.. Maybe apply early September so you have 3 months going into December to get the $4K spending..

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

Wow! I spend more than half of that a month on ONE card and I use several. I am firm in the belief that cash is the most foolish way to pay. Cash doesn't reward you in any way and unless you keep all of your receipts... There is no record of where money is going. So needless to say I charge EVERYTHING. Only way to go for me, I like free plane tickets, free hotel stays and most of all cash back.

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

Cash makes me nervous. If someone were to steal my wallet and I had a couple hundred bucks in there, I'm NEVER getting that back! At least with debit/credit cards, you can freeze them and order new ones. Even if something gets charged, you can dispute it.

I know you're 'supposed' to carry cash in case of emergency but I can't justify it.

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

Car was in the shop for body damage sustained in my work parking lot and the incident was on camera. The person wanted to pay cash for the repairs (took the cash and put it on my card), so that was 1k towards the 4k. Also just booked a cruise and covered the GF's share on the card, $1600 total.

Already at 2600 and I'm only personally out $800. And will have about $1400 of normal bills over the next few months and add in normal spend and I'll be over without a problem.

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

I'll be putting 2k towards Verizon that will give me 1 year of coverage and then I'll pay electric and gas bills for the next year, all at once. This is easier than most on here think. 3 bills paid for a whole year is great also since you know you don't have to worry about not having utility's if you say loser your job.

Re: CSR 4000 spend (not MS spending post)

IIRC, Chase frowns on using their cards for rent payments.  Some posters here over the year(s) ran into issues with Chase allowing Plastiq payments.

For me, I've purchase airline gift cards, added on a few grocery store gift cards when buying groceries,  and have over paid utilities, cable and car insurance in order to meet spend (when I didn't have other expenses on the horizon).

It was like having prepaid accounts. Worked well for me.
