@Anonymous wrote:If you have ANY Chase accounts of ANY type (credit, banking, investment) they have your profile in the system. Walk in, sit down with personal banker, ask "Do I have any offers?" and if they say yes, ask to see them and pick CSR out of the bunch if it's there.
I haven't had offers in-branch ever, but I go in every week to ask and get free bad coffee. My Chase banker is also a neighbor so he's kinda used to it by now and will actually wink at me when I walk in and pull me ahead of the line because he knows it only takes 30 seconds to check.
Do not call into a branch -- their offers screen asks them if you're present or on the phone.
Good info ABCD, thanks ![]()

Another small hijack, to get more detail on a couple of points already brought up in the thread:
5/24: I thought that all cards counted, including store cards and AUs. I have three bank cards in my name - BofA, Cap1, & Chase. The others are all either store or AU. Am I 3/24, or (3 + store)/24, or (3 + store + AU)/24, or...?
In-branch offers: Will a current Chase customer be able to get in-branch offers if they're on the national 5-year opt-out list?

Yes, you can get preapproved by Chase's internal system in-branch even if you have opted out prescreen.
I was opted out since mid-2015 until this month, and some time late in 2016 I had to go to a branch to do something, the banker pulled up my account and told me I was preapproved for CSP, although I opted out for prescreened offers and my EQ and EX were both frozen. On December 9th this year, I went to the branch and was told I was preapproved for CSP and CSR, when I just re-opted in (earlier the same day, my name should not be able to get on the prescreened list that fast) and no online offer would show up. I have had the Freedom since mid-2014.
PS- Amex is similar, but they preapproved me charge cards (gold/plat with signup bonuses) and/or personal loans when I logged in my online account during the period I opted out for prescreens and EQ+EX frozen.
I was in-branch 2 weeks ago(?) to change my PIN (can never seem to remember the darn thing), I have a business account with them. The banker mentioned that I had approvals for both Ink cards, I'm over 5/24 and was over 5/24 when I got my In-branch pre-approval in October. I'm going back for the Ink if I still have a pre-approval for it for Jan...and theya re offering 80K UR points.
ABCD2199...I read that you check weekly in branch? Do your findings change weekly? I thought they updated monthly (they being Chase).
Back when I check in Septemeber I was approved the the CSP but not the CSR, so I decided to wait in...October CSR showed up.
Sidenote: I never have any green check marks online for credit cards or through credit journey.

@Anonymous wrote:Adkins, are you geeky enough to handle some minor code searches? If so, please do this for me (it's safe, nothing hacking or anything like that).
- Use Google Chrome browser if you have it, but I assume Firefox and IE can both do this somehow
- Log into Chase Credit Journey.
- On the main page with the simulation at the bottom, right click anywhere on the page that isn't a button (like text or white space is fine)
- Click "View Page Source" in Chrome, or something similar in other browser
- A new tab will open up with a lot of ugly code. Ignore the code.
- Click Ctrl-F on your keyboard (in Chrome) and a search field will drop down at the top right of your screen (in Chrome)
- Type in the letters preq in lower case.
- This should make the screen pop/scroll down to a highlighted section of the web page code.
- Does it look like this:
<div data-modal="prequalified-offers"> <p>Congratulations! Based on your credit information, these prequalified credit card offers have been identified for you.</p> </div>If so, it probably means that non-Chase customers will get some offers at SOME point. I have no offers on my CCJ right now, but I do see this code snippet.
Also feel free to close that code window.
One day, maybe a pre-qualification!
I just checked it i have the prequalified offers in the code but i never have any offers in my chase account.
